The STV competition for charity funds on Wednesday was won by Canongate
Youth. The project will create a new city centre cafe in the South Bridge
Resource Centre that will improve the employment prospects of 25
unemployed youngsters aged 16 – 25 by providing on the job training and
experience. The new cafe will also provide a safe, sociable and
affordable space for the local community.
