Well done to the following who took part in the
Edinburgh Schools Cross Country championships held on Friday 20 April.
a.
Rose Newman came 2nd in the event for
the second year in a row closely followed by Elizabeth Mole (9th),
Kirsty Johnston (10th) and Catherine Mole (12th) all in
S2. The girls also took 3rd place in the team event due to
their individual successes.
b.
Our
boys also performed well in a field mostly made up of S3 boys – Robert Newman
in S1 came 4th just missing out on a medal and Fraser Morrison
came 16th.
And
finally, I wish all a lovely long weekend. Please note that pupils are off
school on both Monday and Tuesday. Classes resume on Wednesday 9 May.
